Few words about the game
Enjoyable fighting game full of DC superheroes with great single-player content and quite demanding multi-player. I didn't played enough of fighting games before so I might miss few points you look for, but I still can easily recommend this game to everyone around just to try it out. It have everything you might require from fighting game - plenty of character to choose from (missing some minor DC heroes), good graphics, lots of combos to learn and, what I liked most, high level of enviroment interaction. Must-have for every DC fan.
Advantages:
+ Fighting system is full of combos and sweet moves with super powers usage
+ Graphics are quite good looking with nicely detailed enviroment
+ Level design is almost perfect and fun, full of interactive elements and possible transitions to 2nd part of the level
+ Characters design is even better, properly recreated look and behavior of all 30 DC characters you can play as, along with nicely done relations between allies and enemies
+ Multiplayer is working properly for me and it's suprisingly hard, guess I'm really bad at fighting games but it's hard to keep up with some of players that I was matched with
+ Rich single-player content - you can choose between story mode, few types of arcade modes and mission mode. It also explains some relations between characters (for players not familiar with DC universe)
Disadvantages
- Just as I thought, hard to play without a controller
- Low activity in multi-player
- FPS drops occur from time to time
- In my opinion low balance between few characters
- Not all DC characters are in game so I guess some people will be disappointed not seeing their favourite ones
