Depression sits in, and I find myself eating, sleeping, and working over and over again on a loop. Because of this, the protagonist of Dreamscaper, Cassidy, deeply resonated with me. Cassidy battles with depression and a mysterious past that the player has to unravel as they play. Foregone Review

It’s easy to lose Foregone in the multitudinous examples of pixelated Metroidvania games. On paper, there isn’t much that separates it from the norm. In spite of the standard formula, Foregone carves out its own identity through an excellent gameplay loop, fluid animations and complimentary sound design.
