We Happy Few - Lightbearer DLC Review
Reception to We Happy Few may have mixed upon release, but patched after launch, anyone that likes a good story would be wise to pick it up. But, we're not here to talk about the base game, we're here to talk about the DLC Lightbearer.A short story playable separately to We Happy Few‘s main campaign, Lightbearer places players in the shoes of Nick Lightbearer, Wellington Wells’ favourite rock star. Awakening from yet another night filled with sex, drugs and rock and roll, Nick is mortified when he finds some ominous lyrics scrawled on a piece of paper. Plus, he’s also covered
Steel Circus Review
Speedball met Overwatch and they had a Cassie Cage of sports games. Finally it's arrived. Unique visual style. Revolutionary gameplay. Vast content that's yours for the taking without paywalls and grinding ad nauseam. Steel Circus has it... not. But you sure as hell ought to give it a try. Developed by Iron Mountain Interactive and published by Oasis Games, the game entered Steam Early Access on August 8th and this review is a collection of my impressions from its 4th closed alpha test and the first three days of open beta.If I was to put Steel Circus gameplay in a single word,
Bloody Trapland 2: Curiosity Review
Die a hundred and seventy-fourth time at the same chamomile flower in 1-6 and realize it’s not that stupid green cat’s life that’s been lost.Does a high difficulty level immediately make a game bad? Definitely not - provided that it doesn’t give you a constant feeling that you’re wasting your time, which sadly is the case with Bloody Trapland 2: Curiosity - the shockingly second installment of a platformer game series developed and published by 2Play Studios. The developer is based in Sweden and this is a secret piece of information that will help us later. At the beginning I said that
Flying Tigers: Shadows Over China Review
Introduction:Flying Tigers: Shadows over China is an arcade dog fighting game set during WWII in China, Burma and India. The game is based on a group named the “Flying Tigers”, who were a group of US pilots battling China throughout the Second World War. The operations that you are tasked with throughout the campaign, follow the experiences of real operations that took place in WW2. The game mainly has 2 factions which are the Allies and the Japanese, however period you can only play/control the allies within the main campaign. Although in other game modes such as arcade you have an
Thea 2 : The Shattering Review
Thea 2: The Shattering is a sequel to the 4X strategy with RPG and card game elements developed by MuHa Games. Thea 2 takes us to the same fantasy land as the previous game, where we will find many inspirations from the Slavic mythology.Thea 2: The Shattering is a hybrid of game genres. You could call it turn-based or survival. Maybe even RPG. It is tactical and it is rogue-like. Managing all these at once is a delicate dance. Even more, Thea 2 draws upon its predecessor by enlarging the scope of some aspects while adding further detail to others. On

Thank you. I'm sure you could probably tell from reading the article, but Out of Sight is a game that feels particularly personal for me, partly due to my state while playing it, but also because I had been waiting for a Prey sequel for years and will likely be waiting forever.
I hope I was able to keep my objectivity - I tried!
I would love to return to Prey sometime for a review.
I'll have to see if I can track down a copy when I'm done with my current projects.

As someone who also loved the original Prey but tried hard and failed to enjoy the 2017 release (not a bad game, just not for me), I thought this article was really well written. Maybe one day you'll consider doing a retro review of the original?

UPDATE: There are now 100 products in the Trove. Of course, the majority of these are smaller or novelty titles, as there's no way to purchase OP points and fraud up to now basically cut away the little profit we made from things like quests or ads, they're essentially reskinned giveaways, so there's only so much we can list for "purchase" there.
The store will include both Trove and standard products, so is the place to look for any more premium games you might want - but again, as per the article, this is majorly being stripped back and will hold limited titles moving forward.September 20, 2023 -

The Trove had already been cut back, the store is where the bulk of the work needs to be done as this can't be done automatically like we could with the Trove.
That said, we expect to be able to add more to the Trove once the store work has been completed so it should actually increase a little.

BillyBoBThe trove currently only has 45 articles and it is mostly, let's be fair, random indie games. What is there to cut back on?September 18, 2023

I like this review. Informative, fun, and personal so I really get the feeling of what you thought. I was considering getting this game as I have House Flippers and PC Builder and like this genre. Now after reading this I am definitely putting it on the "TO GET" list.

This honestly just reads like you're salty because it's a difficult game.
This is a 2d rage platformer. No story, nothing too complicated, just simply get from the start to the finish. There are hundreds of games in this category and this is simply the best one.
It's difficult and that's the way it should be. There is nothing this game needs that isn't already here. The only extra "reward" that could be given at the end of a level is simply a good job on your screen.
Don't just go looking for everything "wrong" with the game because it's a little difficult.
