Steam Changes - Publishing a game on Steam will now cost 100$
Developers who wish to publish their game on Steam will now have to pay a hundred dollars per game, in contrast to the current practice where the fee was payed only once. When Valve announced removal of Steam Greenlight and a transition on to the Steam Direct model, one thing was alarming for independent game developers. It was said that,to publish a game. it would cost for up to five thousand dollars, although it was 90 euros as part of the Greenlight program, so you can see how it would be far too much. But to the delight of all present and future

OP News - 07/05/2017 Fortnight Edition
STEAM TRADING CHANGESSteam made the announcement, earlier this week, that changes were being made to its gifting process. Essentially, it boiled down to a few key points. Gifts could no longer be stored in your personal inventory for later use, only sent to a specified friend, either immediately or on a delay. Declined gifts are refunded rather than being returned to your inventory. New cross-country gifting rules ensures the title sent to your friend will work on their account, although gifting from countries which have a large price difference results in gifting being disabled. And the alterations were immediate but not

Steam Winter Sale 2016
Let it sale, let it sale, let it sale!Steam Winter Sale is very close (22nd December) and I hope to catch some great deals! After users were complaining about the bad deals that got worse and worse over time (used to be around 70% average but went down to only 10 maybe for new games if at all), chances are that Valve changes the system back again, though I would not entirely rely on that.Even though the sale is a great chance to get yourself some nice games, the real blowing ones will be released early 2017, so you might as well save

Mispurchases - What do you regret?
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, actually I had something completely different in mind but an hour playing certain games made me realise how many times we stumble over games that cost us a lot of nerves. Please feel free to comment and share your experiences with games that make you so angry you just want to bite through your keyboard.Let us jump in:Golf with your friends Actually a nice game I have to say. Not quite a golf simulator (at all) but nevertheless provides a lot of fun. However, it is an Early Access and I posted about this sickness before and the only

The Sickness of Early Access
The Sickness of SteamBy now pretty much everyone must have stumbled over the one or more games that have been in the state of Early Access. With that being said, I want to make sure that everyone understands my personal point of view with that - in my eyes - a problem Steam has been having for quite a while now.The Early Access state started out small but invaded the entire Steam shop and to be honest it sickens me. It was meant as a specific state developers can publish their games in and customers can help them out by buying the game to fund

I have never heard of "Gah!" before but it sounds like my kind of game!
Thank you the review, Green!
For someone who quite likes Roguelite games and dying over and over, like myself, this sounds quite fun and unique with some of the features you have described. This is one for my wishlist!

I might give this game a go!
It definitely sounds like my type of horror game.
Thank you Lily for your review. I wasn't sure if I should give it a try but I think I might enjoy it.

I have looked into this game before and I was curious to know what people thought of it.
The concept sounds interesting but clearly the outcome was not the best.
Thank you so much Green for your review! Hopefully the developers will publish more titles with similar themes but where they work more on the world instead of focusing only on the main character and main story.
From your review, it sounds like the game might be OK if you want a quick game with not much to explore, but maybe not for the price given... I don't think I would pay that much for 2 hours of content for something that does not seem to offer much replayability.
Great review, Green!
