RIOT: Civil Unrest Review
Imagine it’s a cool December afternoon in Italy. You and several hundred others gather together with signs in hand and a plan to push into a police-guarded construction camp by nonviolent means in protest of, what you believe, to be a frivolous and unnecessary high-speed transit line. As your legion approaches the gates they are met with riot-gear-clad police bent on pushing you all back. Do you urge your comrades to push through nonviolently, or do you consider the possibility that you may need to fight your way in, whatever it takes to get your voice heard? Welcome to our Riot:

Trials of the Gauntlet Review
Trials of the Gauntlet is a game that originated as a midterm project for a group of students at Full Sail University. Unfortunately, while the effort was there, the end result is just a clunky mess.Let's go over the bad/annoying parts first - Frustrating controls. The whole gimmick behind Trials of the Gauntlet is the grapple mechanic and what it adds to the game's platforming. Unfortunately this mechanic is just frustrating to use. It made the platforming a pain to get through and was just uncooperative most of the time.- Boring sound design. This is a very quiet game, with rather

Wulverblade Review
Few genres were as prevalent in the 80s and 90s as the side-scrolling beat 'em ups. From Streets of Rage to The Simpsons, if you were playing games a few decades ago, you surely put some pocket change into these arcade cabinets, or played others on early home consoles. For the most part, the industry has moved away from the genre, with one coming out every now and then. It's early in the year, but however it'll be tough for any of them to be more impressive than Wulverblade.Wulverblade is a historical fiction game combining ancient British history with folktales told through the generations. As the

Tactera and Skylight Review
Tactera- It is a bird’s eye style domination game which puts you into a battle to defeat your enemy by raiding their base. The game starts by teaching you the basics of moving troops, there are three main troop types; Tanks, Artillery and Jets (air raid). The game then tells you that there is no friendly fire but still allows you to miss click onto our troops wasting the valid artillery. Once you select the militant you want to move, it gives you a directional line to say where they should go. This ,however, can be tedious as the artillery for

Wartile Review
I’m not usually one for tactics games because I consider myself a simple (read: dense) man, and so the term ‘tactical’ doesn’t really pique my interest that often. But Wartile also has the word ‘war’ in the title’, so I guess I had to check it out. For the record, Wartile bills itself as a tactical game based around cool-downs, in which you guide a bunch of Vikings. So let's get started immediately, when you start the game you start with some text, dive right into the tutorial, and then you get the hang of it fairly quickly. However, the game is

I have never heard of "Gah!" before but it sounds like my kind of game!
Thank you the review, Green!
For someone who quite likes Roguelite games and dying over and over, like myself, this sounds quite fun and unique with some of the features you have described. This is one for my wishlist!

I might give this game a go!
It definitely sounds like my type of horror game.
Thank you Lily for your review. I wasn't sure if I should give it a try but I think I might enjoy it.

I have looked into this game before and I was curious to know what people thought of it.
The concept sounds interesting but clearly the outcome was not the best.
Thank you so much Green for your review! Hopefully the developers will publish more titles with similar themes but where they work more on the world instead of focusing only on the main character and main story.
From your review, it sounds like the game might be OK if you want a quick game with not much to explore, but maybe not for the price given... I don't think I would pay that much for 2 hours of content for something that does not seem to offer much replayability.
Great review, Green!
