The Guise Review
The Guise, a game that is sure to delight the senses at almost every turn, but not necessarily your thumbs. In the game you take control of Ogden who is one of several orphans living under the roof of a caretaker, Mallory, who seems to have more to her than she lets on. After a fateful incident involving a mask that many will find familiar; Ogden loses his human body as he is turned into a monster. He is then tasked by Mallory to seek a shaman in order to regain his humanity. With this new body, Ogden is able to perform

Outlast Review
Few words about the gameOutlast is a first-person horror game, created by an indie developers team, Red Barrels. In the game, you're in control of a journalist that came to an asylum to find out if those terrifying rumours he's got from his source are real. Believe me, you're not ready for what is waiting inside...AdvantagesImmersive story with ton of surprising twists and turnsEvery second of gameplay is full of tensionRealistic graphics along with frightening level design are making quite an awesome impressionHide & Seek, along with parkour and sneaking elements, creates one of a kind atmosphereThe AI of your stalkers

Dread Nautical Review
It's Lovecraftian. No, apparently it doesn't mean Minecraft porn.Dread Nautical by Zen Studios on many aspects reminds me of Dark Quest 2 (it's already been almost three years now since I reviewed that one!). It's tactical, it's turn-based, you get one character in the beginning and gather a bigger team later on. Finally, both games strive for scariness in their own unique ways whilst they also try to be in unique ways cartoony and end up doing both these things poorly.Dread Nautical is too ugly to be a children's game and not detailed enough to be a proper horror. Now I

Hellpoint Review
This game was designed to pretty close to hell, and it succeeded, but not in a good way. Hellpoint is a sci-fi souls-like that was developed by Cradle Games. It was released on July 30, 2020, and got rated a 6/10 by IGN. If you want a quick read without going into specifics, I was not a fan of this game, but if you want a breakdown of what I do like and what I think needs improvement, then you’re in for a treat.Story-The story has a strong opening, although it is very stereotypical in general. It has a mystery-like start,

Observer: System Redux Review
Observer is a horror game developed by Bloober Team, known primarily for Layers of Fear and the Blair Witch game, and published by Aspyr. The original game was developed in August 12, 2017, then expanded as System Redux as a separate game in November 10, 2020. Its focus is psychological horror, and it's tense atmosphere. My experience is solely with the System Redux edition which is said to have more content, I have no idea how it differs from the original in terms of size or quality.StoryThe plot follows Danial Lazarski, a detective capable of invading and interrogating suspects minds through

I have never heard of "Gah!" before but it sounds like my kind of game!
Thank you the review, Green!
For someone who quite likes Roguelite games and dying over and over, like myself, this sounds quite fun and unique with some of the features you have described. This is one for my wishlist!
