What is Men of War: Assault Squad 2 - Cold War? Do you like a game that should be a dlc? Changes nothing from Call Of Arms? Barely any players?
Who to choose?Ill be refering to Men of War: Assault Squad 2 - Cold War = MoWAS2CW*
The Story: There is no story just skirmishes to take the map control and gain nothing.
How fun only 2 game modes!What MoWAS2CW but more in depth? MoWAS2CW is a RTS(Real time strategy) where you choose to play as NATO or USSR and battle for map control this game is more based on multiplayer than the single campaign/skirmishes.
Getting ready to kill some soviets!The Mechanics: MoWAS2CW really adds nothing new apart from few maps which there are only 5 maps and 2 game modes that being assault zones aka Capture the point and annihilation in this if you played call of arms you pay for what troops you want that being scouts, assault squads, paratroopers and tanks while choosing you can see who is each squad so there is usually a medic and a captain the game has no tutorial so if you have never played call of arms then you just have to pick it up and pray you can pick it up, the AI in this game are very hard as you do not know what they have and a lot of the time its to counter you and even on easy they are still so brutal as they can get every squad in the truck while you are still waiting for all yours to get in and get there, the combat is like any RTS you see the troops you have chosen fight the others and watch them get shot and shoot back its great to watch as it can always change but in this game I would recommend mods to play this as they greatly improve this game via fixing AI and just balancing plus letting you take control and shooting the enemies yourself(Ill link the mods below).

Voice acting and sound design is actually really good.
Ok graphics.

Provides quite a challenge.
Cons:
Bugs.
Not a lot of content.
Campaign is just skirmishes.
Nothing really has been changed apart from it being set in the cold war.
Expensive.
No tutorial.
Conclusion:
This is not a very good game for what you are getting the original game is a lot better than this and has so much more for your money as someone who not played this in a very long time a tutorial would have been grateful as I had no idea on the controls, the campaign which is just skirmishes is very boring after a while and I think this was just meant for multiplayer, so if this interest you then check it on -> Steam.
