Nintendo Releases Details on New Console 'Nintendo NX'

Nintendo has revealed details of its up and coming new console, the Nintendo NX, and it looks like it's moving away completely from Wii. Not much has been revealed, though we know have a rough idea what the NX will look like.

Classic shoulder buttons and analog sticks are part of the design. It has been reported that Nintendo intend to release a console that function more like a gaming platform while also featuring a handheld device, and the card slot and built-in speaker further suggests gaming on-the-go.

The whole controller would function as the screen. Rumors are that Nintendo will use a Sharp's free-form display, which can be shaped to many specifications, and based on what we're seeing from the revealed details it looks like these rumors may prove true.

Check out the design sketch here.

“(NX) is something unique and different. It’s something where we have to move away from those platforms in order to make it something that will appeal,”

Sekai Project Releases Visual Novel W'AS-The Hourglass of Lepidoptera'

Publisher of the notorious game Yohjo Simulator, Sekai Project has released the visual novel WAS -The Hourglass of Lepidoptera on Steam after a delay earlier this year.

The aim of this game is to introduce the world on the cultures of Japan, by acting as "content tourism".
Originally posted by WAS -The Hourglass of Lepidoptera creators:
“The keyword for this game is dystopia. The game is set in Post-War Japan, yet this Japan is unfamiliar and strange compared to the one we know from history. Journey with the characters as they meet new people and encounter high drama that will forever change them and uncover the mysteries of the world they inhabit.

In this dystopian world, nothing is what it seems. Though the character seem to be in a land of peace and plenty, we quickly discover that nothing could be further away from the truth. Though WAS might appear to be a bishoujo game, we wish to present a brand-new interpretation of the concept.”
