E3 The Conferences - The PC Gaming Show

Back for its third year with regular host, Sean 'Day[9]' Plott, the chat show-esque show delivered a mixed bag of new and previously seen titles.
Kicking things off was the exclusive reveal of X-COM 2: War of the Chosen.


New features include classes, enemies, environments, three factions and an evolving Chosen that dogs you throughout the new campaign, it's abilities improving alongside your own. Release is set for 29th August on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


New reveals included Ooblets, a Shadowverse expansion pack, Battletech and Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlords gameplay footage, and the Summer Sideshow event for Killing Floor 2.
Klei, the makers of Don't Starve and Oxygen Not Included, showcased Griftlands, a new sci-fi rpg while the Stardew Valley creators gave us a look at War Groove, an Advance Wars style strategy game.


Lawbreakers returned with an update on it's current state of play, now with a release date of 8th August for PC, PS4 and Xbox One for $29.99. Other titles we saw updates on included Shadow of War with a new cinematic shown, Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, The Last Night and Sea of Thieves.


Closing the show, Microsoft Studios announced Ages of Empires: Definitive Edition. An update to the twenty year old title with completely redone graphics up to 4k, a remastered soundtrack, modern UI and path finding and multiplayer.
