What do you feel you could provide for the community?

When I discover something very cool, I can't help but tell everyone! I want to spread the word! That's why I would love to get games for reviews

How much free time can you devote to this position?
I'm available multiple evenings per week, I already spend most of my free time in front of my pc, searching for new games or playing them

What previous experience do you have, If any?
I only reviewed some games for my own account, and I also have already been part of a curator group, so I know a bit about how that works

When and how did you find out about Opium Pulses?
I bought some games a couple years ago, then had a problem with a missing game in a bundle... I then joined the Discord to ask support about it, and never left the server since then! I don't talk much but I read almost everything!

Finally, please provide any additional information about yourself or anything you feel may support your application?
I'm someone who likes to try everything, not only in gaming but also outside! I prefer playing different games every night than playing the same shooter or MMO in hope of getting to the top of the rankings. The only exception is Rocket League, I still play that one every week! :)

I can provide team work and help the community in general which means I can moderate around certain times in which most of the staff is offline. Also, I can provide decent and regular articles on games based on reviews or self digging of information about it, whatever that can help them to understand the requirements.
8. How much free time can you devote to this position? I can do full time as long something doesn't come up. I'll always be on Discord.
9. What previous experience do you have, If any? I Have wrote many articles as ghost writing but haven't done it professionally be it in schools colleges or someone who needs it. I also wrote 1 article for OP games article competition.  Also i am Youtube moderator for many Channel.
10. When and how did you find out about Opium Pulses? Around 2018, I heard that games can be be free on particular occasions on steam and other gaming platforms, upon further inquiring, I heard that i already missed Subnautica and Watch dogs in past. Just because I couldn't claim them at particular time. After that I joined here.
11. Finally, please provide any additional information about yourself or anything you feel may support your application? You already know how well and bad I am in writing. I feel that I can provide comic relief anda good presence in the community.

I don’t have a current job, so I can devote a large portion of my life to it. I usually game around 8-12 hrs a day.

I don’t have any experience reviewing or anything like that, but I’ve been playing games since I was very little.

Before I got my computer In February 2021, I always made sure to add all of the free games I could from places like Epic Games and others to my account, In my search, I found OP in Late 2020, liked the deals and community, then joined Discord early 2021.

I’m not really anything special, But I’ve always liked content creation and such.   • I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and no current employment. I just have plans for furthering my education.

  • Modern systems: PC, Oculus Quest 1, PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One. Looking to grab a PS5 when possible.

    • PC Specs: i7 6700k CPU, GTX 980 Ti GPU, 32 GB DDR4 Ram, Elgato HD60 PCI capture card. I am looking to build a new rig in the near future so I can make the jump to 4k HDR 60 hz gaming on pc.

• What do you feel you could provide for the community?

I feel that I could provide the community an objective and usually optimistic viewpoint on the games that I review. I am an adventurous person who likes to try new things while keeping an open mind. I This is all not to say that I am one to hold punches when I feel something deserves it. I feel it is important for people to spend their money wisely by making the choice that is right for them personally. In essence, I believe that I could write reviews in a way that puts myself in another’s shoes on occasion. This would allow me to experience and consider what they might want out of the game while at the same time staying true to my own opinions and feelings. 

I am also often very good at finding a game’s strengths and weaknesses. By figuring out the highs and lows of a game I am often able to find ways to enjoy it whether I feel that it is objectively bad or a stellar AAA. That could be due to something as hilarious to me as the voice acting of the Two Worlds series or how relieving I feel the relaxed and no time restricted season passes feel in current and future Halo games. With that being said I would be willing to write more than reviews and venture in opinion articles as well as I am very passionate when it comes to many things such as consumers being respected by game developers and publishers. 

• How much free time can you devote to this position?

  • Quite a bit due to the pandemic since I am not changing any behaviors yet despite recent restrictions being removed. That may change in the future of course, but I can assure I will always be upfront and honest about all of that.

• What previous experience do you have, If any?

  • I do not have any formal experience writing game reviews or content creation. I have however always played many betas of games I enjoyed going all the way back to 2007 for Halo 3 in an attempt to provide useful information and feedback for the games development.

• When and how did you find out about Opium Pulses?

  • I heard about it via a giveaway back in late 2020 and stayed in the community, albeit as a lurker, since.

• Finally, please provide any additional information about yourself or anything you feel may support your application?

I also have some experience streaming and creating video content. At one time I had a fairly popular Twitch channel before the website was rebranded from Justin.tv with around 49k views (which given the time was sizable) by streaming gameplay, listening to music, and making jokes. I have streamed on that channel since but only in a small capacity for friends' enjoyment. As for the video content it was strictly for fun and usually for MMO boss kills while raiding so hardly top tier work, but it is something. I would be willing to get back into that with time should things work out and it was of any use.

7. What do you feel you could provide for the community?
   Sharing entertaining information about video games design and provide personal insight from my experience and passion with video games. In hope to inspire people to understand the lesser known side of video games in terms of playing and its making of.
8. How much free time can you devote to this position?
   Flexible but at very least 30 minutes a day to play reviewing games, researching and writing.
9. What previous experience do you have, If any?
   My content creation experience stems from my filmmaking background. I have studied video games out of hobby as I play it passionately. I have also wrote a dissertation in my college about video game adaptation into movies and why it always failed, along with a couple video game reviews and feature. Currently, I am also working with my friend on a Youtube channel that discuss about video games. Besides, I worked in OP last time from 2014 to around 2017 as admin, announcer, store assistant, occasional writer and event host.
10. When and how did you find out about Opium Pulses?
    I think it was around 2012 where I joined a group that later became Opium Pulses as it took over the previous group. 
11. Finally, please provide any additional information about yourself or anything you feel may support your application?
    My works in the past in OP and in my real life have less been about creativity and more on management but I have since ventured out into the creative industry and found myself a place in which I feel belonged. I am more driven when I'm involved in creative works and deeply in love when creating content, especially related cinema and video games. I love to design video games as well, not on drawing but on its mechanic, world, lore and narrative. Simply put, I love video games.
